FAQ

  • What is a WRAP?
A wrap is completely or partially covering(wrapping) something with removable, adhesive backed vinyl film. This film can be a solid color of which the choices are almost endless, or it can be digitally printed with a photo or image provided by you or designed by us. It is then professionally applied to transform your project into the vision you anticipated.
  • Why WRAP something?
    1. Businesses use wraps on their sales, delivery and service vehicles and trailers as a powerful way of branding their business. Their vehicles become mobile billboards advertising their brand 24/7/365. 2. Businesses also use wraps on the exterior and interior surfaces of their offices and stores. Storefront windows, walls and floor graphics promote their brands and advertise promotions. Wall murals can make a space more inviting and comfortable. 3. Individuals choose to wrap their personal vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, motorcycles, helmets, etc. to change color, personalize, enhance and protect their property. 4. Paint Protection. A thick clear urethane film applied properly over your paint will protect from fade, chips and scratches. Easily removable. 5. Just for fun. The ideas are limitless. Just ask, we can probably wrap it!
  • What is the WRAP process?
    1. DESIGN * The design process is the most time-intensive part of the entire project. We work closely with you to understand your ideas and purpose of the project. A PDF proof will be provided for your review, revision requests and approval. A mini vinyl print can be provided if required for color matching purposes, etc. upon request. A fee may be charged for print. Once approval is received, production and installation will be scheduled. 2. PRINT * All printing is done in our shop on our eco-friendly HP Latex wide format printer. We use only top quality inks and materials to provide you with the most vibrant, longest lasting wrap. * Your wrap will be laminated in your choice of finish: matte, satin or gloss, to protect and extend the life of your investment. 3. INSTALL * Installation can be done in our shop or on location. Certain conditions will need to be met and we are flexible within reason. * We ask that you wash your vehicle prior to your installation appointment. No Wax Please! * Our Certified 3M Preferred Graphics Installer(s) will complete a vehicle inspection with you noting any areas of concern or damage. They will clean and prep your vehicle to ensure proper adhesion of your wrap. Some disassembly may be required depending on the type of wrap/installation. * The wrap will be properly aligned, conformed and trimmed to our highest standards of quality and those set forth by 3M. Any reassembly will be done and your vehicle will be ready!
  • How do I care for my WRAP?
    1. Hand washing with mild detergent is always best and will ensure the longest life of your wrap. 2. Automatic carwashes are not recommended as you have no control over the cleanliness of their brushes and pads. The brushes can cause scratches in the laminate of the wrap, which can dull the surface. It is not to say your wrap will be destroyed, but its lifetime may decrease. 3. If pressure washing is a must, keep these points in mind: * First check for any lifting graphics, These areas must be fixed prior to spraying. * Water pressure to be set at 800 psi to a max of 2000 psi. * Temperature of the water to be between 72 and 180 degrees. * Keep spray nozzle pattern at 40 degrees and hold nozzle 12 to 18 inches from surface. * The angle of spray should be 45 degrees using a sweeping motion. * Avoid high pressure spraying of the graphics at an angle to any edge or seam as this may cause lifting. 4. The laminate alone protects from UV rays and abrasion, but if you want to add extra protection, you can apply a Teflon or silicone-based polish. Carnauba-based waxes are not recommended. 5. DO NOT use waxes or polishes on textured, matte or other specialty films. This will change their intended appearance.
  • Is a WRAP a cost-effective form of advertising?
    1. According to 3M, a company would need to spend $130,000 in advertising dollars to produce the same effects of a $3,500 vehicle wrap. 2. With an average full wrap investment costing around $3,000 and kept for an average of 6 years, your investment breaks down like this: * $500.00 per year * $41.65 per month * $9.61 per week * $1.37 per day 3. You can reach a larger audience with a vehicle wrap than almost any other form of advertising for a fraction of the cost. 4. Your initial investment will generate results for years. You can change your wrap as little or as often as you like.
